Law enforcement exposed a deputy of the Odessa Regional Council and his wife, who organized a raider seizure of land near the sea in the village of Zatoka. It is possible to prevent the allocation of state real estate worth tens of millions of hryvnias, the SBU reported on Monday, May 1.
“The actors tried to take the place of the joint-stock company Ukrposhta near the coastal protective strip in the village of Zatoka and illegally set aside agricultural land with a total area of about 280 hectares. They acted as part of an organized criminal group.
It was found that the suspects had forged ownership documents and through a controlled notary registered the plot for the nominees. They then transferred the “re-registered” state property into the ownership of an affiliated commercial structure.
Now the buildings and the surrounding area Ukrposhta on the Black Sea coast was returned to the ownership of state-owned enterprises, and the lands were confiscated.
