In Chernivtsi, a fire broke out in an apartment, mother and daughter died. This was announced on April 11 by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Chernivtsi region.
It was noted that information about the fire along Yuzhno-Koltsevaya Street was received on the evening of April 10. The fire started in an apartment on the first floor, but then the fire spread to the balcony on the floor above.

The rescuers who arrived at the scene evacuated 26 people, and a woman was also rescued with the help of a ladder through a window on the second floor.
In the apartment where the fire broke out, two people were found during the extinguishing: a woman born in 1946 with no signs of life and her son born in 1980, unconscious.
“The firefighters gave the man to the doctors, but he died during resuscitation. The cause of the incident was established,” the State Emergency Service stressed.
It was previously reported that a family of three, including a four-year-old boy, died in a fire in the Vinnitsa region.
