State Concern noted that both shells were produced at foreign facilities, but using Ukrainian technologies.
The Ukrainian military received a batch of 125-mm tanks and 122-mm artillery ammunition produced abroad with the participation of Ukrainian specialists. State Concern Ukroboronprom reported this on its Facebook page on Tuesday, April 11.
“We sent another batch of 125-mm tank shells. The ammunition was produced together with one of the NATO member countries abroad,” the report said.
State Concern also provided the Armed Forces with another batch of 122-mm artillery ammunition, “following the batch of 125-mm tank projectiles sent.”
“We are producing the same shells with the NATO country at foreign facilities, but using Ukrainian technology and with the participation of our specialists. We are working tirelessly for the Ukrainian Victory,” the message said.
Recall, earlier it became known that one of the state enterprises concern Ukroboronprom and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ SA) signed a cooperation agreement on the production of tank shells of 125 mm caliber.
It was also reported that Ukroboronprom began to produce 125-mm ammunition for a tank gun with one of the NATO countries. Now such production will be established in two countries of the Alliance.
