In the Rivne region, a man stabbed his pregnant wife to death during a fight. Due to stab wounds to the neck, a 20-year-old woman died before doctors arrived. This was announced on April 6 by the police press service.

It became known that there was another quarrel between the spouses, who lived in the village of Staroe Selo, as a result of which the 20-year-old wife went to her parents in the village of Drozdyn , and his 27-year-old wife came for him.
After another fight, the man followed her into the bedroom with a knife and first hit the woman three times in the neck. The woman died from her injuries before paramedics arrived.
The attacker, who was in a state of intoxication, tried to flee from the scene of the crime, but he was immediately detained by law enforcement officers.
The man faces a life sentence.
