Is it possible to reproduce the hairstyles at home?

Reproducing the hairstyle at home will depend a lot on the type of hairstyle chosen. “Currently, the internet has a plethora of tutorials that can help you make a not-so-complex hairstyle at home. However, more elaborate hairstyles, with good finishes, require more technique, specific tools and correct finishers for construction – generally items that are not common to have at home”, comments hairdresser Mayara Morales.

Are there any recommendations before doing the hairstyles?

To the recommendations end up varying according to the need of each hair. “Some need volume, others need frizz control, there are those who want a more polished finish while others like a more laid-back look. In any case, when using thermal tools (such as a hairdryer, flat iron and babyliss) it is essential to use a thermal protector beforehand so as not to compromise the health of the hair”, concludes Mayara.

Recommendation for brides

Specialist in bridal hairstyles, Ádno Moreira makes a recommendation for the hairstyle to last even longer. “A recommendation I make, especially for brides, is not to moisturize the week of the wedding (or any other event), because, depending on the hairstyle, the durability may be less. For styling, wash your hair with a milder shampoo, use as little conditioner as possible on the ends and rinse well.”

To remove the hairstyle at the end of the event, the hairdresser recommends untangling the hair with a soft brush starting at the ends. “A wonderful product that will help when detangling is Keune’s Brilliant Gloss (a shine spray)”, she says.
