The aggressor country, the Russian Federation, began to spread fakes in order to somehow influence the situation around the battles for the city of Bakhmut.
Russian propaganda has launched several narratives that are trying to psychologically influence the decision-making by the Ukrainian command on the situation in the Bakhmut area. However, this false information does not have the impact that Moscow expected. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar in Telegram.
The enemy is not able to psychologically influence the decision-making of our command in the Bakhmut direction. Just as it is not possible to demotivate our fighters,” she stressed.
According to Malyar, the Kremlin uses two main provisions for information attacks in Ukrainian society. The enemy spreads messages about his alleged success in various forms and types and spreads fakes about allegedly declassified plans and decisions of the Defense Forces on Bakhmut.
Experts analyzed these messages and came to the conclusion that the aggressor cannot find effective narratives, so the information is more like testing all possible options.
Recall that in early April, the Ministry of Defense stated that the Russians were trying to take full control of Bakhmut and continued to intensively storm him, throwing their professional units into battle.
And Tendar’s OSINT specialists noted that the occupiers had probably given up trying to encircle the city after a series of defeats and were trying to break through deep into the city.
