Warsaw does not rule out further negotiations on the transfer of new batches of fighter jets to Ukraine.
Poland has already given some of its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. This is what the representative of the President of Poland, Marcin Przydacz, said on the air of RMF FM on Monday, April 3.
“Several Polish units have already arrived in Ukraine (MiG-29 – ed.),” said Przydach, without specifying the exact number of aircraft transferred.
According to him, the process of transferring the first part of the aircraft has been completed.
“Of course, there will be talk about possible additional support,” Przydach said.
It is known that Poland has 28 MiG-29 fighters. They are stationed at the air base in the city of Malbork.
It will be recalled that on March 16, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced the transfer of four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. The remaining combat vehicles underwent the necessary training.
At the same time, Poland said that they will not transfer all MiG-29 for the needs of Ukraine.
