Ukrainian actor Garik Bircha, known for his leading role in the comedy television series Vitalka, who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the beginning of a full-scale war, spoke about the service. He said this on air to Snidank from 1+1.
According to him, at first, as part of a separate special company, he stood in defense of the Kyiv region. During the year of service, he rose from the rank of senior sergeant to chief sergeant.
“I had immediate service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but that was a very long time ago. How it all happened, I remembered everything very quickly … From the very beginning, we formed a separate special company, and we performed . tasks to protect Kiev and the Kiev region. Then, on the basis of this special company, since it consisted entirely of volunteers, a separate special battalion was created, and there I took the position of commander of a support platoon. sergeant,” he said.
Now Garik Bircha has returned home from the war zone. He will take a ten-day vacation, and then return to work again.
“There were times that came earlier, and the command left, but this is my first vacation. The sensations are cool, I am glad to see my relatives, relatives. Of course, I hugged my wife, kissed the child. Then they invited me to the League of Laughter. It was difficult to move, but it seemed to me, I adapted, and everything fell into place,” shared the actor.
