In occupied Mariupol, Russian troops are preparing for defense and new fierce battles. This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko.
“The Russians continue to fortify. Bridges. Azovstal. Ilyich. Port. You should not indulge in self-deception and believe the encouraging fabricated news about the panic of the invaders in Mariupol. The Russians are preparing the city for defense and fierce combat,” he said.
According to Andryushchenko, the maximum militarization of the city directly indicates that the Russians are not planning any “Kherson scenario” there.
“Workers of the military commandant’s office and city defense garrison officers are simultaneously looking for sea houses to rent. Civil occupiers are buying seedlings and planting gardens,” he says.
As the mayor’s adviser noted, the Russians believe they are “forever” in Mariupol.
“Therefore, a new battle for Mariupol awaits us. Absolutely. But do not devalue the hard work of our Heroes with fictitious “panics,” Andryushchenko added.
Earlier it was reported that after the recent explosions in Mariupol, the invaders began to move air defense systems from the Central and Primorsky regions to the Left Bank.
