Russia on Friday adopted a new foreign policy strategy that takes into account the United States and West as “existential threats” for Moscow in the context of extreme tensions related to the conflict in Ukraine.
The new policy recognizes the existential nature of threats to the security and development of our country, caused by the actions of unfriendly countries, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, adding that the United States and its allies are waging a “hybrid war.” against Moscow.
New foreign policy strategy Russia it is based on the principle that “anti-Russian measures taken by hostile countries will be constantly fought, tough if necessary,” he added.
deep break
The adoption of this new foreign policy strategy confirms the deep gap that has existed between Moscow and the Western countries since the beginning of the offensive against Russia against Ukraine.
This conflict has led to a major diplomatic crisis reminiscent of the Cold War era.
Washington and its allies have imposed harsh economic sanctions against Moscow, which in turn accuses them of waging a remote war with it in Ukraine, in particular, by supplying weapons to Kyiv.
Isolated in the West Russia seeks to get closer economically and diplomatically with Asia, especially with China. (According to AFP)
