Europol analyzed 7,000 photographs and video footage and identified 150 suspects of Russian war crimes in Ukraine. This was said by the Executive Director of Europol Catherine de Bolle, Ukrinform reports.
“We at Europol analyzed 7,000 photographs and video clips and 550 testimonies. We identified 150 suspects in war crimes,” he said.
De Bolle emphasized that Europol values the investigation of Russian war crimes in Ukraine, collects information and identifies the defendants.
“We are working through information and trying to establish a connection between the different information we have and coming from different countries. This is our main support for the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, officials of law enforcement of Ukraine, as well as the International Criminal Court,” said the director of Europol.
Recall that the International Criminal Court and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine will create joint working groups to investigate specific criminal cases of war crimes.
