Over the past day, 28 clashes took place in the Bakhmut area. The enemy inflicted 187 strikes with barrel and rocket artillery. The defense forces destroyed 100 invaders and wounded 87.
This was announced on March 30 by the representative of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Cherevaty.
According to Cherevaty, it is consistently very hot in this direction, but we can say that on certain days the activity of the enemy decreases.
This may be due to regrouping, the intentions of the enemy to change tactics in other directions. For example, if at first they acted at the level of battalion, company tactical groups, now they have switched to tactics of small actions.
The situation on the Limansky and Kupyansky directions
Cherevaty says that the Kupyanskoye and Limanskoye directions have been the leaders in terms of the number of artillery strikes by the Russian army for several weeks now. Over the past 24 hours alone, terrorists have fired more than 300 times from various types of artillery.
The speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes that in this sector of the front, the occupiers operate in classic units and almost never send mercenaries from private military companies into battle. At the same time, he noted that during the year all units of the Russian army suffered losses, so they were understaffed with mobilized Russians.
During these days, 37 occupiers were killed, 100 wounded. But they use more armored vehicles there. Every time armored vehicles and other means are destroyed there. During these days, an infantry fighting vehicle, a Tyulpan self-propelled mortar, four other 122-mm mortars and a Strizh radio station, as well as field ammunition, were destroyed, Cherevaty said.
