New air defense systems and modern Western fighters will help to fully cope with the situation.
The defense forces learned to counter the launches of RF Shahed drones from different directions. This was announced on the air of the national telethon by the representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat.
According to him, the Russians began to launch concentrated Iranian kamikaze drones in small batches both from the territory of Belarus and from the Bryansk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine adapted to such tactics of the enemy.
“You see, when an air raid is heard, and the “shaheeds” attack Ukraine at night, they are chased throughout the territory. They use the routes given by the intelligence, knowing where we have weak points , how we can snuggle down to the ground, use riverbeds, because it comes out with rockets. It complicates the work,” said Ignat.
A representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the work is also difficult at night in conditions of poor visibility. If during the day drones can be shot with small arms, machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, then at night it is very difficult to do this, even with searchlights.
“Therefore, radar binding is important in this regard, and therefore it is not easy. But you see that there is a result. You just need more air defense systems to cover the vast territory of Ukraine. In addition to them , modern Western fighters are desirable, which can fully cope with the situation” – summarized Ignat.
Remember, on the eve of the intelligence released the “filling” of the Shahed drone, with which Russia regularly attacks Ukraine.
The first three companies of the Drone Army are ready for battle.
