In the Donetsk region, electrical engineers restored electricity to 16,000 families, in Dnepropetrovsk – 2,000.
“The situation in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions remains very difficult. Every day, despite shelling and attacks, power engineers are making every effort to restore light to the inhabitants of these regions. Since the beginning of the general war, our specialists have continued to light up the homes of 7.2 million families. Some of them – dozens of times because of regular and prolonged shelling,” said Alexander Fomenko, General Director of DTEK Grids.
DTEK stressed that in the zone of active shelling, restoration work is carried out only after obtaining permission from the military.
Last month, DTEK restored electricity supply for 263,000 households in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
