On March 20, the Verkhovna Rada supported the draft law “On one-time monetary assistance for harm to life and health caused to employees of critical infrastructure facilities, civil servants, local government officials as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine” (No. 7353).
The National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service said that the rocket attacks of the Russian army on state institutions, local government buildings, hospitals, railway junctions, other critical infrastructure facilities, as well as terror against representatives of the Ukrainian authorities in the occupied territories often lead to injuries. or death of public servants and other critical infrastructure workers.
The draft law adopted by the Council establishes a one-time financial assistance for the relevant categories of employees for damage to life and health, the amount of which depends on the group of disability received, namely:

persons with disabilities of group I – UAH 800 thousand;

persons with disabilities of group II – UAH 500 thousand;
-
persons with disabilities of group III – UAH 200 thousand;
-
in case of death (death) of a person, his family will receive UAH 1 million from the state.
The procedure for the appointment and payment of the specified lump-sum allowance will be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Pay such assistance from the state budget, with its subsequent reimbursement by the aggressor state by collecting amounts in accordance with the principles and norms of international law.
