The Cabinet of Ministers has not yet received the draft orders of the president on the dismissal of the leaders of Luhansk and Odessa OVA.

The Office of the President is considering the possibility of the resignation of the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai and the head of the Odesa OVA Maxim Marchenko. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to sources in the authorities.

It was learned that a meeting was held today at the Office of the President, where the issue of personnel in the regions was discussed. At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers has not yet received the draft orders of the president on the dismissal of Marchenko and Gaidai.

As the newspaper was writing, rumors of Gaidai’s resignation began to appear in early February. The media wrote that he could get the post of Ukrainian ambassador to Kazakhstan.

As for the Odesa OVA, a number of corruption scandals are associated with it.

It was previously reported that Odesa OVA officials are suspected of embezzling funds from the state budget.

It will be recalled that an officer of the Odessa District Police Department was detained for taking a bribe.
