The aggressors admitted that they used Kinzhal missiles and other air, sea and land-based missiles against civilians.
The rocket attack on civilian cities in Ukraine was a “massive retaliation strike” in response to an alleged terrorist attack in the Russian Bryansk region. This statement was made by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, at a briefing on Thursday, March 9.
The aggressors admitted that they used Kinzhal missiles and other air, sea and land-based missiles against the Ukrainians.
According to Konashenkov, “key elements of Ukraine’s military infrastructure, enterprises of the military-industrial complex, as well as the energy facilities that supply them” were allegedly hit.
The Russian Ministry of Defense says the aim of the strike has been achieved.
“As a result of the retaliation strike, the transfer of reserves for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the railway transportation of foreign weapons were disrupted,” Konashenkov said.
It will be remembered that on the night of March 9, the aggressor country of Russia attacked 10 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. As a result of the missile attack in some regions there were blackouts, problems with water supply and heating. There were also civilians who died.
