Former fighter of the Sparta battalion imprisoned in Odessa

It is known that SBU officers found and detained a man who joined the battalion in 2015 Sparta terrorist organization “DPR” and took part in battles against ATO forces in eastern Ukraine.

“As part of an enemy group, he fired at defensive positions of Ukrainian troops, participated in battles in the Donetsk airport area, was on duty at checkpoints and attended sniper courses,” the service said. of security.

After being wounded, the attacker left the ranks of the militants and returned to his permanent place of residence in the Odessa region. For a long time he hides from justice and continues to maintain contacts with henchmen from the ranks of terrorists.

During a search, the defendant was found to have computer equipment, a mobile phone and SIM cards with evidence of criminal activity. He was informed of the suspicion of participation in a terrorist group or terrorist organization (part 1 of article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention, the investigation continues.
