President Volodymyr Zelenskyy changed the composition of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and introduced the previously appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense Oleksandr Pavlyuk. This was reported in the decree of the head of state No. 129, published on Monday, March 6.
“I decide: introduce the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Alexander Alekseevich Pavlyuk, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, to the Headquarters staff,” the document says.
As you know, on February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk as the First Deputy Minister of Defense. Previously, he was the commander of the group of forces and means of defense of Kyiv.
A week later, two more deputy heads of the Ministry of Defense were appointed. Vitaliy Deinega and Andriy Shevchenko received the positions.
