On the night of March 2, the Russian military launched a missile attack on Zaporozhye.
An enemy missile almost completely destroyed a five-story residential building in one of the districts of the city. People are under the rubble. This was announced by the secretary of the Zaporozhye City Council Anatoly Kurtev in Telegram.
The State Emergency Service reported that as of 6.30 am, 11 people had been rescued from the rubble, including one pregnant woman. Rescuers evacuated 20 residents from a neighboring entrance. Psychologists helped 20 people. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
According to the Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration, a preliminary strike on the city was carried out using S-300 missiles.
Recall that on March 1, the Armed Forces warned that a new Russian missile attack on Ukraine could be pinpoint or in several waves. Now in the Black Sea there are rocket carriers with a total salvo of dozens of “Caliber”. Strategic bombers at Russian airfields are also on standby.
