In the first minutes after returning from captivity, the defenders of Ukraine bowed on their knees to their native land.
The emotional video was released on February 16 by war correspondent Andrei Tsaplienko.
Recall that Ukraine and Russia today made another exchange of prisoners of war, as a result of which 100 military men and one civilian returned home – the first deputy mayor of Energodar Ivan Samoydyuk, who was abducted by the invaders last year on March 19.
The coordinating headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war indicated that many of the released soldiers were wounded. Most of them are the defenders of Mariupol. There are also Ukrainian soldiers in the Kherson and Kyiv areas. In particular, 63 defenders of Azovstal, defenders of Bucha, Kherson and Liman returned. 46 dismissed belong to the Naval Forces, 29 to the State Border Service, 12 to the National Guard, eight dismissed belong to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, five belong to the Territorial Defense.
