Today, a meeting of the working group to develop the issue of creating an international special tribunal for the Russian Federation was held.
The Head of the Office of the President Andrei Yermak said that the discussions on the creation of a special tribunal for Russia are now focused on the mechanisms for implementing such an initiative.
According to him, on Monday, February 13, a working group meeting was held to develop the issue of creating an international special tribunal for the Russian Federation.
As Yermak said, most of the allied countries already support such initiative of Ukraine.
“Today, almost all of them say that they are ready to participate in the creation of the tribunal. We are no longer discussing the possibility of the idea itself, but the specific mechanisms for its creation,” noted the head of the OP.
He emphasized that in order for the partners to support the scenario for the creation of such a tribunal that Ukraine needs, it is necessary to prepare specific proposals for their further presentation on international platforms.
Recall that the OP announced three models of a special tribunal for Russia.
It was also reported that the Secretary General of the Council of Europe proposed options for the creation of a special tribunal for the Russian Federation.
