Duda recalled that a potential Russian attack on Poland would be a Russian attack on NATO.
Ukraine will urgently need to receive military equipment from its Western allies in the coming weeks, otherwise the Russians could win the war, Polish President Andrzej Duda said in an interview with Le Figaro, his text was published by the Polish presidential administration.
When asked if the Russians could still win the war, Duda admitted that it was possible if Ukraine did not receive aid too soon.
“They don’t have modern military infrastructure, but they have people! If we don’t send military equipment to Ukraine in the coming weeks, Putin can win. He can win, and we don’t know where he will stop,” said of the president of Poland.
At the same time, Duda reminded that a potential Russian attack on Poland is a Russian attack on NATO.
“When the United States was attacked in 2001, all allies stood by the Americans to fight terrorists. We believe that if there is an attack on a NATO country, no matter what it is, the response will be the same: fast and decisive,” – he said.
Remember, according to media reports, during the summit in Brussels, the heads of states of the European Union did not give Volodymyr Zelensky the obligation to provide military aviation, although the Ukrainian president hinted at such agreements.
