Many Ukrainian soldiers have been using TikTok since the beginning of the Russian invasion to let thousands of followers imagine their experience of fire, the camaraderie that reigns in their ranks, but also to join the latest trends of the moment. There were hundreds of them to resume the choreography of the series dedicated to Adam on Wednesday in the ruins, in the ditches or hidden in the forests of eastern Donbass.
Soldiers’ TikTok accounts intertwine light-hearted videos and precious testimonies of war, evoking conflicting emotions in the viewer.
