The world continues to raise funds to help Ukraine: through United Nations structures and international charitable foundations.
During the two months of the war, Ukraine received more than 300,000 tons of humanitarian aid from abroad.This was announced on Tuesday, May 3, by Daria Zarovna, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, at a briefing.
“From the first days of March to May, Ukraine received more than 304,000 tons of humanitarian aid. About 24,000 tons last week,” he said.
The world continues to raise funds to help Ukraine: through the United Nations and international charitable foundations, money is received from foreign government institutions and individuals, most of which are sent to help Ukrainians refugees in different countries.
In addition, these funds go to humanitarian aid coming to Ukraine and distributed by regional humanitarian hubs.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal announced the launch of a worldwide fundraising platform in support of Ukraine.
