A local resident contacted the Kyiv police with a statement about a robbery on Peremogy Avenue. An investigative-operational group of the territorial division and criminal police immediately left for the specified address. This was reported by the Kyiv police.

“During the search activities, we learned that the attackers gave the applicant the documents of a man who was considered dead. Thanks to the careful work of operatives, where analysts from the headquarters of capital was involved, we detained the likely suspects. We took some of the stolen items as material evidence, the accomplices were able to sell the rest of the property,” said Nikita Dovgan.
Under the procedural guidance of the Svyatoshinsky district prosecutor’s office of the city of Kyiv, law enforcement officials informed the thieves of suspicions of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – robbery committed under martial law. The court chose preventive measures for the defendants in the form of detention. The penalty of the article provides up to eight years in prison.
