Hungary will allocate $3.5 million for the export of Ukrainian grain to Africa – media

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that Hungary intends to finance the shipment of 10,000 tons of grain from Ukraine to Africa.

Hungary plans to finance the shipment of 10,000 tons of grain from Ukraine to Africa. This was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, writing Portfolio.

Szijjarto said that Hungary will allocate about $3.5 million for the export of Ukrainian grain to African countries.

“Hungary and the Democratic Republic of Congo are interested in establishing peace as soon as possible and ending armed conflicts,” added the Hungarian Foreign Minister.

Earlier it was reported that the UN had bought 60,000 tons of Ukrainian grain for Ethiopia.

In total, Ukraine exported more than 22 million tons of grain in 2022.
