The father of a local resident died on January 7 of a stroke. He was not hospitalized because there was no vacant seat, and he was taken to the morgue the day after his death.
Hospitals in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region, are overcrowded, people are denied hospitalization, and morgues do not have time to collect the bodies of the dead. This was reported by the Mariupol City Council, referring to the information of a local resident.
The girl’s father died on January 7 of a stroke. He was not hospitalized because there was no vacant seat, and he was taken to the morgue the day after his death.
“They left him at home. You could say they didn’t do anything, but just prescribed some pills. January 7, died. They took him to the morgue at 8 o’clock in the evening. I asked my aunt why that was, and he said that there are so many dead that there are people on the weekend, and the morgue doesn’t have time to take,” said the woman.
It will be remembered that before Christmas in occupied Mariupol, people stood in a long queue for a plate of porridge.
Earlier, the Mayor’s Advisor Petr Andryushchenko presented the facts of the New Year of Mariupol. The Russians promised the people who remained in Mariupol to rebuild and fix everything by the New Year, but the promises remained empty words.
