Scientists have found that a year 2100 will very often have heat waves unbearable all over the world.

According to the researchers, high temperatures are expected in all regions of the world, which will lead to an increase in the number of deaths.

2100, not a pleasant year

Study published in the journal Communications Land and environmentanalyzes the combination of air temperature and humidity, known as the index heat which measures the impact on the human body.

The US National Weather Service determines the index heat “dangerous” at 39.4 C. “Extremely dangerous” thermal index 51 C, which is considered unsafe for humans for any period of time.

Estimates indicate that the tropics and subtropics, including the Indian subcontinent, most of the Arabian Peninsula and sub-Saharan Africa, will experience dangerously high temperatures on most days of the year by the end of this century.

This is likely to happen even if we somehow manage to limit global warming to 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, the study warns.

death and illness

” heat Extremeness contributes to chronic diseases and is associated with regular loss of time due to work in the open air and … may threaten the habitability of large areas of the earth’s surface if greenhouse gas emissions are not reduced, ”the document says.

People most vulnerable to serious health problems caused by heat the extremes are the elderly, the poor and outdoor workers, he added.

“Without adaptation measures, this would significantly increase the incidence of climate diseases. heat and this will reduce the possibility of working outdoors in many regions where subsistence agriculture is important,” decided.
