April becomes the third in a row in succession, when the same indicators decrease. 75% of major applications from shelter seekers fall into Spain, France, Germany and Italy.
Regarding the country’s own population, the greatest concentration of asylum applications is in Greece, in Cyprus and Spain.
Among the asylums of the largest groups were the citizens of Venezuela, Afghanistan, Syria, as well as Ukrainians who received 2115 applications (we note, the absolute majority of Ukrainian citizens left over the war have received the right to live in the EU with temporary protection mechanism).
As you know, on July 15, the EU Council finally expanded temporary protection for Ukrainians until March 2027.
Remember that Poland will gradually prevent shelters of shelters for refugees from Ukraine. The corresponding draft law approved the Poland government.
