The data obtained in the study allows you to look at a fresh look at the small-educated transition period between the late copper and early iron century in central Europe.
In Sumlo Hill, located west of Hungary, archaeologists found six treasures from more than 900 metal artifacts from a period of more than 3 thousand years ago, Armeonews reported.
Hill Sumlo is a finished volcano 427 meters high, located on the Vespere committee, known as its vineyards. However, new studies have shown that even in the last brass (1450–800 BC) and the initial season of steel (800-450 BC), this area has the meaning of a ritual and, perhaps, an administrative center.
The team under the leadership of archaeologist Benze Shoosh from the Hungarian National Museum has applied modern research methods, including laser, magnetic intelligence, metal detention and ground examinations. Most of the findings are concentrated on the south -east cliff on the hill. Five to six treasures belong to the late copper season, one to early iron. Artifacts include: jewelry, brooches, decorative discs (probably military signs) and a rare spear of a type of alpine.

Two bins, the third and fifth, are particularly unique, as the artifacts of them are accidentally hidden in ceramic vessels, which is the first confirmed example of such a regional ritual. The vessels passed the computed tomography at the University of Pannonia, making it possible to investigate the internal structure of the wealth. In addition, individual items are evaluated by neutron tomography to study the methods of their labor.
The fifth treasure also deserves to notice the fact that it contains not only metals, but also amber beads, fangs of pigs and wild boars, fragments of tissues and skin, indicating the ritual nature of the bins. According to Shoos, this is the first proof of the local tradition of depositing the metal during the move between the two eras.
The availability of such bins indicates the ongoing hill removal at this time, questioning past ideas about the structure of regional organizations. Researchers are currently conducting a typochronological and radiocarbon analysis of organic materials, in particular bones from the first treasure, to establish the exact time.
The ordered putting things on treasures and their symbolism may indicate the presence of an elite military class. Archaeologists suggest that Somlo may be the main point of the tribe or tribe structure during the last brass period, which is also confirmed by the presence of nearby mountains. Although the metal processing workshop has not yet been discovered, the found remains of buildings have been written in a permanent removal.
The data obtained in the study allows you to look at a fresh look at the small-educated transition period between the late copper and early iron century in central Europe.
We will remind you, earlier it was reported that 3,000-year-old rock drawings were accidentally found in Brazil.
