After chaos at a day6 show in Indonesia, JYP Entertainment pronounces

‘Forever Young Tour’, the Third Day6 World Tour, one of South Korea’s most famous bands, has completed seven months since its inception in September 2024. Carming a passage in countries such as Australia, the United States, Japan and Thailand, the last weekend performances took place in Indonesia, Jakarta. However, despite the show, the show was also marked by chaos in the organization.

The main factor that disturbed the event was bad weather. However, even with a storm and strong winds, the mydays (fandom name) present at the site had to wait on the outside of the stadium where the performance occurred. “BMKG (Indonesian official meteorological agency) had warned of the possibility of heavy rain, but the organizers abruptly transferred the show to an open stadium. In a country known for severe and sudden weather conditions. Without proper protection, fans were soaked and insecure,” said a fan who was at the scene.

The ‘Forever Young Tour’ now has its latest shows scheduled to take place between May 9 and 18 in Seoul, South Korea.

About Day6

Formed a decade ago, on September 7, 2015 by JYP Entertainment, the day6 is a South Korean band that is currently integrated by four musicians: Sungjin, Youngk, Wonpl and Dowoon. Originally, in the debut with the ‘The Day’ mini-album, the group had six members-the four remnants next to JUNKYEOKkeyboardist, and Jaeguitarist. However, even before they completed a year together, the keyboard player withdrew from the band alleging personal reasons.
