Google’s decision is based on a ban on the distribution and sale of the company’s products in the United States after September 29th.
Russian defense programs Kaspersky Lab no longer available on Google Play. The company itself announced this.
“At Google’s decision, our Android device security apps are currently not available in the official Google Play app store,” the statement said.
SA Kaspersky Lab stated that Google’s decision is based on the ban on the distribution and sale of the company’s products in the United States after September 29 of this year.
“We believe that Google is over-interpreting the decision of the US Department of Commerce, that the restrictive measures do not in any way prohibit the sale and distribution of Kaspersky products and services outside the United States We discuss this situation to all parties involved,” the company assured.
As you know, in June of this year the United States introduced a complete ban on the use of the software Kaspersky Lab because of its relationship with Russia.
Then Kaspersky Lab decided to leave the US market after the administration of President Joe Biden banned the sale and distribution of the software in the country.
