Warner Bros. Pictures has released the launch trailer for the new game “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions”, inspired by the wizarding world’s sport.
Attention, Potterheads! On Monday, the 29th, Warner Bros. Pictures released the launch trailer for the new game “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions”; check it out!
The game will focus on the magical sport of Quidditch, where players will be able to take on the roles of Beater, Chaser, Keeper or Seeker, competing against other Hogwarts students through Single Player, Career and Competitive Online modes. In addition, the creation of playable characters will also involve some iconic figures from the franchise, such as Harry Potter himself or his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
“Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” will officially launch on September 3, and will be available for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) in Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. The Nintendo Switch™ Edition will be available at a later date.
It is worth remembering that the announcement of new games involving the wizarding world began after the resounding success of “Hogwarts Legacy” which, in 2023 alone, sold around 22 million copies. Through an interview with Variety, the president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, David Haddad, stated that there will be other content that has not yet been publicly released:
There are a number of other things, which have not yet been announced, that will allow fans to be a part of this world and deeper stories and characters. We can explore different avenues.”
