Hygiene and safe sexual behavior will help control the spread of the disease, according to the WHO.

American biotech company Moderna has begun preclinical testing of possible monkeypox vaccines. He reported it to Twitter.

“Because monkeypox is of importance to public health around the world, we are investigating potential monkeypox vaccines at the preclinical level,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, the WHO does not see the need for mass vaccination of the population against monkeypox. The organization believes that hygiene and safe sexual behavior will help control the spread of the disease.

It was also reported that there was very little chance of spreading monkeypox on the territory of Ukraine. In recent days, 258 cases of monkeypox have been recorded in the world, of which 187 have been confirmed.
