Peru Libre parliamentarian Silvana Robles submitted a vote of no confidence to four members of the Board of Directors of the Congress of the Republic in connection with the vacancy Pedro Castillo.
According to the document presented by the legislator, the procedure for the vacancy for the former president was irregular, as it did not allow Pedro Castillo to speak, which would have been contrary to his right to defence.
The legislator indicated in the plenary session that the vacancy does not comply with the proper procedure provided for in Congress Rules.
After a short discussion, the plenary session rejected the proposal of the deputy Free Peru.
The initiative was rejected by 43 votes to 68 and 0 abstentions. It was also decided to send it to the archive.
