Plenary session Congress approved this Thursday with 73 votes in favour, 32 against and 6 abstentions the admission to the processing of the presidential vacancy against Pedro Castillo. The debate and final vote will take place next Wednesday, 7 December at 15:00.
The petition for the vacancy is the third filed against the head of state in less than a year and a half of his term. It was signed by congressmen from the bench Fuerza Popular, Renovación Popular, Avanza País, Somos Perú and Alianza para el Progreso (APP), as well as representatives of other groups.
