Henzler talked to RPP News among his initiatives, he mentioned the provision in Article 117 of the Constitution of the possibility of accusing and / or removing the president from office if he commits an act of corruption.
Below is a detailed list of offers:
- “There is a reform related to the entry into the second round of two minorities.
- There is a second reform to give the people back the ability to control Congress by their vote, allowing it to be renewed mid-term and allowing immediate re-election to Congress.
- There is a third, which has to do with keeping corrupt criminals out of politics by preventing them from holding public office or leading political parties.
- There are the following looking for Indigenous and Indigenous representation
- There is another way to avoid the politicization of the Constitutional Court
- Finally, to be able to avoid the impunity and arbitrariness of an incumbent who commits acts of corruption or organized crime by indicating that he can be charged and removed from office in Article 117.”
For this initiative to continue, it must first be assembled, 75,000 signatures. The bill must be submitted to the Congress of the Republic for further evaluation. In case of archiving or making any changes, we start collecting signatures from 10% of the population; that is, approximately 2.5 million for the referendum.
