Lawmaker Lauren Bobert (R-Colo.) Was outraged Monday when she offered to offer companies to pay travel expenses for employees to have an abortion, just to save on paying parental leave.
“Does anyone think that these companies, which suddenly offer to pay employees for abortions, are doing this to avoid paying for maternity leave?” He asked on Twitter.
“It’s cheaper to kill a child… to illustrate the real evil,” Bobt said.
Does anyone think that these companies that suddenly offer to pay for abortions of employees are doing so just to avoid paying for maternity leave?
Killing a child is cheap … True evil is personified.

Critics have reminded the congressman of his previous criticism of parental leave.
They also accused him of scrolling through Promises made by companies (including Apple, Amazon and Microsoft) following the leak of a Supreme Court bill that would repeal Roe v. Wade.
A friendly reminder that Lauren Bobert is against maternity leave. He really said … https://t.co/GOgHvsV47X

Don’t blame companies for not taking maternity leave. When Republicans continue to vote against legislation that will force companies to have 6-12 weeks of paid maternity leave.
Companies that support women’s choice are downright annoying. https://t.co/rn6RRZlD3e
