Near this morning 205 people interfered with the National University of the Mayor of San Marcos (UNAMS) in time operational wherein police contingent recalled the regional federations that had been in the specified home of study since January 18 last year.

In connection with this new episode of the socio-political crisis that began on December 7 in the country, the question seems to be becoming more and more relevant in public opinion: Executive Are you resolving conflict appropriately?

As a result, congressmen Flavio Cruz Peru free and Carlos Andersonnot grouped, in dialogue with RPP newsThey agreed that the government “lacks the capacity” to engage in dialogue and find a solution to the conflict.

Flavio Cruz: “The President’s speech attacked us”

Congressman from Puno Region, Flavio Cruzconsidered that the last messages of the president to the nation are derogatory in relation to the population of the jurisdiction he represents.

“He did not have the potential, he did not demonstrate it at the national level, especially at the regional level. Fist. Rather, he attacked us. In general, his speech was aggressive. He called us extremists, miserables, minorities and I don’t know what else besides drug dealers and terrucos. You can’t say that,” he said.

In this regard, he stressed that the president “did not seek need bridges”for this dialogue, and in the face of it,” the population is firm and demands its resignation.

“Those bridges were not built, there was no empathy, there was no intelligence to connect with them. Therefore, we saw the reaction of the governor of the region. Fist and then it also sounded like blackmail ‘if you don’t come to me, you won’t have a budget for your region’. The fact that it is impossible to conduct a dialogue in this way,” he stressed.

In turn, he clarified that the government “did not understand” that the population is carrying out “political demand” and instead “insisted” on authoritarian action.

“We want dignity, respect, justice, which the population demands, exercising their right to protest. This is a political claim, because this regime, unfortunately, in the authoritarian way it is run, does not show that it can be Government it really leads to the satisfaction of great historical demands,” he said.

On the other hand, the parliamentarian pointed out that the population “demands” a referendum to discuss the possibility of a constituent assembly, and that this should be “heard.”

“This is what the population demands, and people need to be listened to. We do not ask for a call to constituent Assembly (…) What the population is asking for is a consultation saying whether they are in favor of a constituent assembly and this is purely an administrative matter and it is possible, it is viable. The population is not asking for something impossible,” he said.

Carlos Anderson: “You must lower the temperature of the tongue”

For my part, non-group congressman, Carlos Andersonconsidered that within the framework of the dialogue “reasonable”The language must be downgraded” by both the government and the protesters.

“We have to lower the temperature of the tongue. We must find space for negotiations. [y definir] what is up for discussion [Hay que] start negotiations seriously. There must be changes on the part of the executive branch,” he said.

In addition, the parliamentarian believes that the government “pays a lot of attention” to the protection of the rule of law.

“It is clear that the vision of the government of Mrs. Dina Boluarte and his prime minister places great emphasis on protecting the established order, the freedom of third parties and life, because the police are not there to kill anyone, but to protect 33 million Peruvians,” he said.

In addition, Congressman Anderson believed that Executive “He lacked empathy for the legitimate demands of the populace” and engaged in a “solid dialogue”.

“The government created space for dialogue, there were talks about National agreement and things are very lofty and unearthly when a firm, strong and transparent dialogue is needed,” he said.
