Vladimir Zelensky ordered Denis Shmyaly to force contracts for drones that the defense forces needed.
President Vladimir Zelensky heard the report of new defense minister Denis Shmygal and set him up. The head of the state on Telegram reported this Friday, July 18.
According to him, an audience of agreements that require accelerated contracting is currently underway. In particular, this applies to drones, and especially interceptor drones.
“He ordered to be forced to finish all the appropriate drones required by our defense forces. We also talked about the provision of diptrains – the frequency of our blows, priority activities. I am grateful to all the involved units for accuracy,” Zelensky wrote.
By Monday, Shmygal should prepare the presentation of a specific Ministry of Defense program and key priorities to be implemented in short -TERM, in the coming weeks, and medium -TERM, for the next six months.
In this regard, Shmygal spoke about a meeting with the Commander -in -Chief of the armed forces by Ukraine Alexander Sirsky and with the leader of the general staff of the Ukraine Andrei Andrei Gnatov’s armed forces.
“We talked about the front situation, an increase in our state’s freedom of defense, the military needs. We are preparing new supplies of weapons for our defenders, along with the support of international partners. It is important that any offensive enemy attempt is divided about the power of the Ukrainian army,” the minister wrote on the Telegram.
Remember, on July 18, Denis Shmygal led the Ministry of Defense instead of Rustem Umarov, who was now appointed secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
