The same period includes the second regional elections of 2022 for the periods from September 3 to December 30, 2022 and from September 3, 2022 to January 14, 2023, respectively.

Who is required?
Persons required to provide financial information to the campaign include gubernatorial candidates, lieutenant governors, and members of regional councils; mayors and provincial or district councilors who have been registered el Special Electoral Jury respectively, for their participation in the electoral process.
Even registered candidates who had no campaign contributions/income or expenses must file a nil return.

This is punishable by a fine of 31 to 100 tax units and deprivation of direct state funding in accordance with the Regulation on Financing and Control of Party Funds.
Criteria
Law 31504 provided that candidates who fail to inform the ONPE Party Fund Oversight Office under the law of contributions/revenues and expenses made during their campaign are punished with a fine of at least one ni more than five tax units (UND).
