From the beginning of a full-scale war on social networks, the artist began to write in the state language, after a while he completely switched to the Ukrainian language in everyday life.
Ukrainian musician Volodymyr Dantes admitted that during the entire war there were two moments that brought him to tears. He revealed this in an interview with JetSetter.ua.
“I cried twice. The first time was on March 1, when a rocket hit the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the city center, the places where I live and where there are many memories from childhood. The second occasion I couldn’t help myself when I saw children’s toys in the places of destruction “A child’s toy is like a child’s closest friend. And here it lies abandoned. I want to believe that this child is alive, that he has to leave the toy. At the same time, you remember how many children died or were abused, raped,” he said.
According to him, at such times he can’t think of anything to distract himself, that’s why when he feels that tears are coming, he cries.
At the same time, Vladimir Dantes added that he continues to try to help his native Kharkov. In particular, he tries to help with money and information dissemination about volunteer initiatives.
“My team created an initiative 2 months ago. We created a Google form so people can write there about their charitable foundations and initiatives. Once a week, 5 foundations are chosen to talk about them on my page. There are many Kharkiv foundations among them … And By the way, on December 13, I plan to shoot my show there and cover what is happening in the city now, who needs what kind of help,” added the musician .
Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Dantes for the first time since the beginning of a large-scale war visited Irpen, which was destroyed by Russian invaders.
Dantes said why he was not taken into the army
