Younger than 12 years, Lady Dee suffered from sexual neglect from, at the time, Prince Charles.
Unofficial royal biographer Christopher Andersen, in his new book titled The King: The Life of Charles III, to be released on November 8, has revealed the reasons behind the collapse of His Majesty’s marriage to Princess Diana. Page Six writes about it.
Andersen says that Lady Dee literally followed her husband “through the corridors, up the stairs and from room to room” in Charles’ home at Highgrove House. He said he showed no sexual attraction to her.
“Why don’t you want to sleep with me?” Diana asked her husband, who for all intents and purposes had unilaterally ended their sexual relationship since the birth of Prince Harry in 1984. Charles sarcastically replied: “I don’t know, honey. I think I might be gay,” the book said.
Anderson also wrote that His Majesty, in a heated argument, childishly asked to be respected.
“‘Do you know who I am?” he asked his wife. Diana replied that she was a fucking animal. “You will never be king!” he called. “William will succeed your mother. I will take care of it,” the biographer wrote.
Thus, the tension in the royal court only increased with time.
Although the book says that before she married Charles, Diana realized that her lover was in love with Camilla Parker-Bowles.
“Clashes between Diana and Charles are now so intense that violence seems inevitable. Officials are concerned about the sheer firepower contained within Highgrove’s walls, which include shotguns, rifles and pistols, according to the book. The detectives in charge of protecting members of the royal family are very concerned that in the heat of anger any of them could be used to commit suicide, murder, or both,” wrote Andersen.
Remember that Charles and Diana were married in 1981. They decided to separate in 1992 and officially divorced in 1996. Just one year later, Princess Diana sadly died in a car accident at the age of 36.
