Nata Zhizhchenko said that the house survived the First and Second World Wars, and it also survived the battles with the invaders in the Chernihiv region.
The leader of the Ukrainian electro-folk group Nata Zhyzhchenko, known as ONUKA, moved with her family to her grandfather’s old house, located in Chernihiv. This was reported by Public Chernihiv.
It was noted that until February 24, the artist rebuilt the house, which was more than a hundred years old, and when the Ukrainian defenders expelled the Russian invaders, he moved to his hometown.
“We have completely moved in all things, although I have everything for the baby. We only have a place to live here, and it seems to me that I have more things to do here, filming than in Kyiv. Life is paints a picture that my life is almost here,” he said.
At the same time, Nata Zhizhchenko admitted that due to frequent enemy attacks, her house was partially damaged. In particular, the shock wave knocked out one of the windows, snapping the shutters.
In addition, the performer added that he was ready to burn it himself if the Russian invaders settled there.
“I blocked the thoughts about this house in my soul, said goodbye to the mind. I have two options – if Russia really comes, get captured, and someone lives here, or Russia is here, I will go and burn the house The second option was to wait that God will have mercy and somehow this building will stand,” he concluded.
It was previously reported that ONUKA returned to Ukraine after charity concerts in the USA.
