The members of the Ukrainian pop-rock band Antitila take care of the children of their comrades who died in the Russian war until they grow old. The band’s frontman announced this on his Instagram page.
According to him, together with their brothers, they overcame many obstacles, but the most difficult was the loss of companions, who had been walking with them from the first day, and their children became orphans.
“The fathers will come home, but the stories in the books, the street names, will return as memories and tears in the minds and hearts of the children. They will no longer hug, will not give valuable advice, will not be there in an important moment. Such is the price of freedom that we all pay that our children, who have become unwitting participants in this bloody war,” he wrote.
So, the Antibody group and the brotherhood of the 130th battalion decided to help and support the children of the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
“Some families of deceased soldiers have four children. We will find opportunities to meet their needs and at least partially replace the shoulder of the parent. if not for their sake and their future,” said Taras Topolya.
It was previously reported that Topolya, who serves as a paramedic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, admitted that sometimes you have to deceive wounded colleagues.
