The American actor called on the Pope to hold a march in support of Ukraine

The star, who turned to Pope Francis, asked to lead a peace march aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine.

American actor Ethan Hawke called on the Pope to take part, as well as to lead a peace march in support of the Ukrainian people. He revealed this in an interview with CBS.

According to the two-time Oscar nominee, Francis may use his name to call on the Kremlin government to stop hitting Ukrainian cities.

“I understand that maybe he can’t stop the war, but he can use his name and power to say: “You have to stop killing children, killing civilians. I think adults from all over the world should stand up and say: “You have no right to bomb and kill children,” said the actor.

It was previously reported that Pope Francis appointed three women to the Vatican’s Department of Bishops.
