The permanent leader of Russian rock band DDT, Yuri Shevchuk, has openly condemned the Kremlin’s actions since the early days of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Now the actor admitted that he transferred the money for all ten concerts he had played since the start of the war to help Ukrainian refugees. She spoke about it in an interview on YouTube channel Tell Gordeeva.

“My children are grown up, I don’t need too much finance. I myself never took my payment for a concert. I transferred all the money to refugees from Ukraine. People are suffering, even those forcibly evicted before the war, they live somewhere after in hostels. For me, it doesn’t matter where someone came from – from Donetsk or from Kyiv, or from Moscow.People … Children … “, – said the singer.

Meanwhile, during the war, Shevchuk wrote several new songs.

Recall that Shevchuk had previously said that the Russians were not slaves, but just ended up at work.
