Local authorities should complete the preparation of schools for offline learning in September, in particular, to equip storage facilities.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal wrote in the Telegram about the readiness of educational institutions for the start of the academic year.

“We expect from local authorities that all work will be completed at the beginning of the school year, which should begin on September 1 in full-time mode. In areas where it is certainly impossible, a mixed education system will be used, ”Shmyhal wrote.

He also noted that the safety of children is a top priority when preparing educational institutions for the school year. Properly equipped storage facilities with ventilation, heating, and appropriate training opportunities as needed are things that are needed from communities and heads of regional military administrations.

As reported, the Ministry of Education and Science recommends teaching on the move in case of lack of places in school shelters for all participants in the educational process. It is also recommended to transfer some topics to an online format.

Recall that earlier the Ministry of Education and Science named those responsible for the safety of the educational process. During the alarm, all students and teachers must go to the shelter in an organized manner and stay there until the alarm is over.
