Matthew Bellamy showed solidarity with Ukraine by playing a guitar with a Ukrainian flag sticker and wearing blue and yellow clothes.

The leader of the British rock band Muse, Matthew Bellamy, has shown his support for Ukraine in the war with Russia.

On his Instagram page, the musician posted a video of himself playing the guitar in a blue and yellow outfit. A sticker in the shape of the Ukrainian flag can also be found on the guitar.

Bellamy accompanied the video with words about the meaning of their song Won’t Stand Down: “It’s about standing up to bullies on the playground, at work or anywhere – protect yourself from sociopathic coercion and manipulation and facing adversity with strength, confidence and determination.”

This is not the first time that the musician has shown solidarity with Ukraine. On the eve of the full Russian invasion, in January 2022, Muse released a video for the song Won’t Stand Down, shot in Kyiv.
